Instilling in mind the value of education, the Founder President, Late Yashodhara S. Shetty, Hon.Gen. Secretary K.S. Bangera, Hon. Gen. Treasurer Shri S. G. Anchan and all the members unitedly formed the Kannada Sangha for the beneficial of the Kannadigas. The members of the Sangha, along with the community people of the surrounding area came together to sustain tradition and culture of their hometown.
It all began with a handful of students in 1970, and in the year 1972 with the TMC approval and the Executive Committee’s effort a two storeyed building was created. Gradually the school progressed into Primary School and then to Secondary School. Without receiving any monetary benefits from the government and with minimal fees from the students, the school till date work to spread quality education to the students, residing in the vicinity of the school.
Navodaya English High School & Junior college – a small effort in a proper direction – a small seed that was sown in the – then unknown Kisan Nagar area of Thane city by Late Yashodhara S. Shetty, has evolved into a gigantic structure with 3 buildings of its own in a span of 53 years. This educational institution was the brainchild of the modest kannadigas who resided in this area and formed a social group Navodaya Kannada Seva Sangha (R) – Management of Navodaya English High School & Junior College. The pioneers dedicatedly worked hard, withstood all the struggles and strife and never let the challenges dampen their spirits .We think , that Goddess Sharada herself resides in Navodaya who is instrumental in getting like – minded people together throughout the journey of 53 years .Selfless devoted people joined hands and proceeded towards attaining milestones like getting a new multi-storeyed building for Primary in place of one storeyed, starting of Secondary Section in Shivaji Nagar.With the blessings of Goddess Saraswati ,we were able to realize our long cherished dream- of our Junior College Building in the year 2016-2017 with the philanthropic support from donors, patrons &well wishers.
Carrying the mantle of such a glorious institution forward is not only an honour but also a challenging task! We , as Sangha has already put forth a new mission statement to guide the institution on yet further journey ahead .Navodaya Kannada Seva Sangha’s main aim is to provide education to all those who come under the canopy of Navodaya . Sometimes due to personal financial crisis some parents give up their ward’s education as they cannot afford to bear the expenses. So the Sangha tries to identify the students who face financial difficulties and provide them help through Students’ Welfare Fund by paying their fees. Around 50- 60 students are benefited by this fund every year.
The world of today is shrinking in its boundaries with the advent of the digital and social media, it is obvious that people are drawing closer, growing stronger by enhancing their knowledge . Today’s India is an empowered, enlightened and enterprising nation. We promise to make it even more powerful with conscientious ,smart, confident, compassionate & responsible citizens who would make us proud of their multifaceted growth .We shall work together towards fulfillment of this dream.
We feel very honored to be serving this prestigious institution as an Administrator of Navodaya English High School & Junior College during Golden Jubilee Year and also wish that this sacred temple of learning crosses many important of Diamond, Platinum and Centenary Celebrations in future & keeps serving the humanity forever.

I truly believe in Einstein's quote that the purpose of Education is to create a Thinking Mind! Such minds will be able to lead and succeed in whatever they dream to achieve. Their dreams shouldn't allow them to rest. continue to toil till they are satisfied, only then can they build up their reputation!
I also believe that every child in his/ her grooming period needs a role model. More often, their role models are their pants grandparents or some family members in their tender age. As they grow up to be adolescents, their role models are their Teachers who make an everlasting impact on their minds. They become their anchors on whom they can bank upon. Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life. Libraries are essential in a process of giving citizens access to knowledge. Our journey started with a small treasure house of books (Kannada library) has blossomed into a huge institution today which still continues to provide leisure reading time to its Sangha members. A library is not a luxury but one of the necessities of life.
ಅರಿವಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನ ದೀವಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಹೊಸ ಹೊಳಪನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಅಕ್ಷಯ ಭಂಡಾರವೇ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಣ್ಣದೊಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಭಂಡಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು, ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ವಿತರಣೆಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಬಾಂಧವರು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ವಿನಂತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

If we are to preserve culture we must continue to create it. Even though our medium of instruction is English we being a Kannada Seva Sangha School we take the pride in preserving, promoting and nurturing our tradition, culture and rich heritage. We impart Kannada Knowledge in written and verbal form for all belonging to Karnataka starting from grades 1 to 7 free of cost. Our past helps strengthen our Future! Our heritage makes us unique.
ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡು-ನುಡಿ, ಆಚಾರ-ವಿಚಾರ, ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ-ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ, ಹಬ್ಬ-ಹರಿದಿನಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದರಿಂದ ಏಳನೇ ತರಗತಿಯವರೆಗಿನ ತುಳು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಧರ್ಮಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
Bharatanatyam
Dance is the hidden language of the soul. Bharatanatyam is one of the oldest dance forms in India. Today Bharatanatyam in India is one of the most popular and widely performed dance styles and is practiced all over the world. We at Navodaya believe in preserving our traditional values & culture by inculcating it right from childhood. Navodayites are trained under the able guidance of their Guru Mrs Shailaja Madhusudhan & Mrs. Raksha Rao.
ನಾಟ್ಯಾಭಿನಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯವು ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಒಂದು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾದ ಕಲೆ. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾದ ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯ ಕಲೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದರ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಲಾ ತಿಲಕ ದಿ| ಯು. ಎಸ್. ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾವ್ ಇವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ “ನೃತ್ಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ” ಎಂಬ ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ನಾಟ್ಯ ಗುರು ದಿ| ಯು. ಎಸ್. ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾವ್ ಇವರ ಸುಪುತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೈಲಜ ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಮ್ಮಗಳು ಕುಮಾರಿ ರಕ್ಷಾ ರಾವ್ ಇವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೈಹಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸದೃಢರಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಹಂಬಲದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಆತ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿ ಸಾಹಸಿಗಳಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ, ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿ ಸ್ಸೈನಿ (Authorised Karate Instructor, III - DAN Japan Shotakan Karate Do Kanninjuku Organization, India, II – DAN – WKF Black Belt) ಇವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಕಲೆಯಾದ "ಕರಾಟೆ" ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
Music & Instrumental Music
Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything. After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music. It is the strongest form of magic. Music is known to enhance brain function in children. Musical activities such as playing an instrument, singing or just listening to music stimulates the brain, and this brain workout leads to improved brain structure with the formation of new neural connections. We at Navodaya give formal classical training to our students under the able guidance of Mr. Manohar Patil.
"ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಗಂಧರ್ವ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ" - ಮುಲುಂಡ್ ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ "ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿಶಾರದ" ಮತ್ತು "ವಿದ್ಯಾಧರ ಗೋಖಲೆ ಸಂಗೀತ – ನಾಟ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ" ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಾಟ್ಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಮನೋಹರ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಇವರ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟ್ರುಮೆಂಟಲ್ ತರಗತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಹುಮ್ಮಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವರು.
Yakshagana Class
Yakshagana- A jewel-art of Karnataka. Art in its finest form ! Mid night Magic - An exquisite traditional folk dance - drama in the most refined form found only in karnataka ! We at Navodaya provide exclusive Yakshagana training under the able guidance of yakshaguru- yasksharuksha Award winner - Shri Ajekaru Balakrishna Shetty. Heroic, mystical, splendid, fierce, savage, beautiful, it relives the legends of the great epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata and themes from the Puranas, sacred texts of Hindu mythology.
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡು, ನರ್ತನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಸುವ ಕಲೆಯಾದ ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನವನ್ನು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಯುವ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕಲಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ, ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಯಕ್ಷಗುರು, “ಯಕ್ಷರಕ್ಷಕ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ” ವಿಜೇತ ಅಜೆಕಾರು ಬಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಆಸು-ಪಾಸಿನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಈ ತರಗತಿಗಳು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.
Yoga Class
Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”– The Bhagavad Gita. It is an art and science of healthy living. It helps to improve health and happiness. We live in an age where we struggle to get mental peace. Professional and personal stress takes a toll on us. Yoga is a practice to bring all body parts together to make a balance in body, mind, and soul. yoga helps clear the mind which would aid in increasing concentration amongst students. Navodaya conducts yoga classes every Sunday morning led by the famous Yoga Guruji Sri Nikam.
ದೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ಏಕಾಗ್ರತೆಗೊಳಿಸುವುದೇ ಯೋಗದ ಗುರಿ. ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆಸುಪಾಸಿನ ಜನರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದತ್ತಲೂ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತೀ ಆದಿತ್ಯವಾರ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಯೋಗ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಯೋಗ ಗುರೂಜಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿಕಮ್ ರವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. “ಅಂಬಿಕಾ ಯೋಗ ಕುಟೀರ”ದ ಯೋಗ ಗುರುಗಳಿಂದ ನಡೆಸುವ ಯೋಗ ತರಬೇತಿಯಿಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಪಡೆದ ಜನರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ದಿನೇ ದಿನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರಮ ಸಫಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ
Abacus & Vedic Maths Class
Abacus maths leads to a better understanding of Mathematics calculations. Vedic math helps children remember formulae and tables in a much simpler manner and it is one of the fastest methods to learn calculation. Mastering Vedic Maths helps kids perform calculations in a faster manner and even solve simple numeric sums of additions, subtractions, divisions, and multiplication. Vedic Mathematics Tricks is very useful in the aptitude section of the competitive exam. No need to remember any formula and dependency on the calculator will become almost zero. The Most beneficial aspect of Vedic Maths is It gives You the 10-15 times faster result as compared to the Western way of calculation. At Navodaya Vedic maths and abacus knowledge is Imparted by Mrs. Nomita Chanbar and students have bagged National and international level awards too.

Dancing is surely the most basic of relevant of all forms of expression. Nothing else can so effectively give outward form to an inner experience. Dancing is like dreaming with your feet, a silent poetry ! Dance is the most ancient art in Indian culture. The time is ripe for individuals who want to explore and express themselves in the field of dancing, with the Indian dance industry expanding into new horizons and strengthening its traditional roots. Dance is often termed as the mother of all art forms – existing simultaneously in rhythm, space, expression and time. New dance forms like contemporary dancing, hip-hop, Bollywood dancing are a hit amongst the youth too. In today’s world, a dance career is highly respected and opens many doors of opportunities if used wisely. Western dance training is provided under the able guidance of Mr. Anantesh Poojary of Anantesh Dance Studio.
ನೃತ್ಯ - ಸಂಗೀತಕ್ಕೆ ಲಯಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ದೇಹದ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಕಲೆ. ನೃತ್ಯವು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಕಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವತ್ತಿನ ಸಂದರ್ಭ,.ದಲ್ಲಿ ನೃತ್ಯವೆಂಬುದು ಹತ್ತಾರು ಬಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟಿಸಿಲೊಡೆದಿದೆ. ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವರೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೃತ್ಯ ಕಲಿಯುವವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದೇಶೀಯ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರಗಳಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವವಿದೆ. ಟಿ.ವಿ. ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ರಿಯಾಲಿಟಿ ಶೋಗಳಿಂದ ಸಿಗುವ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಕಾಶ, ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯ ನೃತ್ಯ ಯುವಜನತೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸಂಘವು ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯ ನೃತ್ಯ ತರಬೇತಿ ತರಗತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅನಂತೇಶ್ ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸ್ ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೋದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಂತೇಶ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿಯವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

The Lord in this form is considered an existence of truth. This Pooja is conducted to ensure abundances in one’s life. It is a ritual performed by Navodayites for the past 5 decades with great fervour and festivity.

Weekly Bhajan
God is faithful to those who are faithful and earnestly seek Him. Prayer is powerful. It can heal, prayer can give, and it can change lives. We believe perhaps the most powerful way to pray is sing Bhajans. Bhajan is a means of sustaining a faith that at times can grow weak. The power of Bhajan is enriching, uplifting to hear our God speak. To keep God at the center of one's life, requires frequent renewal of power through regular Bhajan, keeping this in view we at Navodaya have been conducting regular Bhajan session every Saturday with voluntary participation of all the sangha members.
ಭಜಕ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟುವಿಕೆಯ ಆವೇಶದಿಂದ ನಾದದ ತರಂಗಗಳು ರೂಪಾಂತರಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇ ಭಜನೆಯ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಭಜನೆಯಿಂದಾದರೆ, ಭಕ್ತಿ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮಗಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘವು ಪ್ರತೀ ಶನಿವಾರ ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಬಾಂಧವರು, ಪರಿಸರದ ತುಳುಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಭಜನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

Saraswati, also known as Sharada, is the eternal goddess of knowledge, music, art, speech, wisdom, and lore. Sharada Puja is one of the most-awaited and colorful religious ceremonies that we have been celebrating for more than five long decades now. The Puja is performed on the arrival of the Goddess Maa Saraswati during Navratri. It is also celebrated for the triumph of good over evil and to spread love and happiness. May Goddess Saraswati Bless you with the ocean of knowledge which never ends.

When you pray you become an identity who is asking for help. You are asking the infinite to come through for the finite. Prayer is powerful because prayer brings the entire Infinite with you. Bhajans Mangalotsava is a festivity of prayers & chanting of hymns. Navodaya takes great pride in conducting the traditional Kunitabajana by inviting various groups of Bhajan mandalis.
ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಭಗವಂತನನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿ, ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ, ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಕುಣಿದರೆ ಭಗವಂತ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಭಜನೆಯ ತರಂಗಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಂಪನಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ನಮ್ಮೀ ನವೋದಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸೇವಾ ಸಂಘವು ಕೂಡಾ ಭಜನಾ ಮಂಗಳೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
Kannada Annual Day
Karnataka history can be traced back to the Pre-historic period. Karnataka is said to be one of the four Dravidian states associated with Indus-Valley civilization. We at Navodaya believe in preserving our native language, cultures, values & traditions by conducting various competitions and activities as a part of the Sangha Events. We also conduct an annual Vicharamanthana by calling eminent personalities and also felicitate our students performing extraordinarily well in various Kannada exams and events.
ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ನಡೆ-ನುಡಿ ಆಚಾರ ವಿಚಾರ, ಹಬ್ಬ ಹರಿದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಸದುದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘವು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್ ಭಾಷೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಪ್ರತೀ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರ್ಧವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪಾಲಕ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ವಿಚಾರ ಮಂಥನ, ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಶ್ರೇಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತೀರ್ಣರಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣೆ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
Literary competition Indoor & Outdoor Games:
Competition teaches us big lessons; it drives us to be the best we can be. Competition is always a good thing. It forces us to do our best. Navodaya believes in - Don't knock your competitors. By boosting others you will boost yourself. A little competition is a good thing and severe competition is a blessing. Achieving a sport or fitness goal encourages you to achieve other goals you set. This is a rewarding and exciting learning process. Keeping this in mind Navodaya conducts a lot of indoor and outdoor competitions. Few of which includes chess, carrom, quiz, cricket, throwball, tug of war etc. Physical exercise is good for the mind, body and spirit.
ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯ/ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಪತಿ/ಪತ್ನಿ/ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ, ಒಳಾಂಗಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊರಾಂಗಣ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ, ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾವಗೀತೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಒಳಾಂಗಣ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಸ್ಸ್, ಕೇರಮ್, ಮೈಂಡ್ ಗೇಮ್, ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ತೀರಾ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾರೀರಿಕ ಸಮತೋಲನವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿತದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸುವ ಬಹುದಾದ ಏಕಮಾತ್ರ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್, ತ್ರೋಬಾಲ್, ಓಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ, ಮಡಿಕೆ ಒಡೆಯುವ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ, ಹಗ್ಗ ಜಗ್ಗಾಟ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ವಯೋಮಿತಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
Blood Donation Drive
You don’t need to be a doctor to save lives. The first ever blood donation camp was a huge success paving way for many such camps in the future. Success of the camp was an ideal example of Team Work exhibited by the entire Navodaya Family. United we stand for any social cause now and always.
NAVODAYA KANNADA SEVA SANGHA Along with Navodaya English High School & Jr College in association with their Ladies wing & Youth Wing under the able guidance of Dr. Satyaprakash Shetty the most respectable Doctor in the society well known for Shivani Maternity & Child Care Hospital and Mr. Vinay Shetty Vice President of Think Foundation conducted the first ever Blood Donation Drive on Sunday, 28th November, 2021.
ನವೋದಯ ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನವೋದಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸೇವಾ ಸಂಘ ಮತ್ತು ನವೋದಯ ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಜಂಟಿ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಖ್ಯಾತ ವೈದ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸತ್ಯಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಥಿಂಕ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ನ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನಯ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರ ಸಹಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತದಾನ ಶಿಬಿರ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಘದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಯುವ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ, ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಲಕ ಪೋಷಕರು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಅನೇಕ ದಾನಿಗಳು ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ ಬೇಧವೆಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಧಿಕ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತದಾನ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ರಕ್ತದಾನ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಒಟ್ಟು 630 ಯುನಿಟ್ ರಕ್ತ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಬ್ಲಡ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್, ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಬ್ಲಡ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್, ಅರ್ಪಣ ಬ್ಲಡ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸಂಘದ ಸ್ಕಾಲರ್ ಶಿಪ್ ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ಬರುವಂತಹ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆದಾಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತೀ ವರ್ಷ ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಸ್ಕಾಲರ್ ಶಿಪ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ನಿಧಿಗೆ ದಾನಿಗಳು ಧನ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನಿತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿನಂತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

In the wake of a credit crunch, few students and parents don’t want to risk borrowing large sums of money from outside. Scholarship money is a great source of financial aid and can help students. Considering the low economic background of our students, Navodaya Kannada Seva sangha provides financial assistance to students from std 1 to std 12 so that their education isn’t hampered.
ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಿಂದ ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನವರೆಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಜನೆ ಗೈಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದು, ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ಭರಿಸಲಾಗದಂತಹ ವಿಷಮ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮ ನಿಧಿಯ ಬಡ್ಡಿಯ ಹಣದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತೀ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
Silver Jubilee Fund
In memory of our prestigious Educational Institution completing 25 years of its existence. The funds generated in that year has been named - Silver Jubilee Fund and since then it has been used as scholarships to award the deserving students.
ಸಂಘದ ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಸವಿನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ದೇಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ “Silver Jubilee Fund” ಎಂದು ನಾಮಾಂಕಿತ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ “Silver Jubilee Fund” ಗೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಬಡ್ಡಿಯ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತೀ ವರ್ಷ ಸ್ಕಾಲರ್ ಶಿಪ್ ನೀಡಲು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸಂಘದ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಸವಿನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ದೇಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ “Golden Jubilee Fund” ಎಂದು ನಾಮಾಂಕಿತ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ “Golden Jubilee Fund”ಗೆ ಸಿಗುವ ಬಡ್ಡಿಯ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಹ ತುಳುಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
Minority Quota-Concession in College Fees
Our prestigious Institution reserves 50% minority to Tulu Kannadiga candidates during College admissions in Science and Commerce stream. In addition to that we also offer 50% fee concession to them.
ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಮೈನಾರಿಟಿ ಸರ್ಟಿಫಿಕೇಟ್ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಒಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಕಡಾ 50 ಪ್ರವೇಶಗಳು ತುಳುಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ತುಳುಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶುಲ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೂಡಾ ರಿಯಾಯಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
